What costs a credit
One credit = one recipient on a live email. An email to one person costs 1; an email with 2to and 1 cc costs 3. The response tells you in credits_charged.
These are free:
- Emails sent with a test key.
- Suppressed recipients, which PulseSend removes before sending.
- Emails that end up
failed: their credits are refunded.
Free allowance
Every team gets 3,000 emails a month for free. The allowance resets each month and is used before any credits you’ve bought.Top-ups
When you need more, buy a pack from Top-ups in the dashboard. Prices are in US dollars and you pay by card.
Purchased credits stay valid for 12 months.
Running out
When a live send needs more credits than you have, it fails with402 and the code insufficient_credits. Nothing is sent and nothing is charged.
