# API reference

> Base URL, authentication, formats and pagination.

## Base URL

Requests and responses are JSON. Send `Content-Type: application/json` with every body.

## Authentication

Use a `ps_test_` key while you build: same responses, nothing delivered, nothing charged. See [Authentication](/authentication).

## Objects

Every object has an `object` field (`email`, `list`) and a prefixed `id` (`em_…` for emails). Dates are ISO 8601 in UTC, for example `2026-10-17T09:41:00Z`.

## Pagination

List endpoints use cursors. A page looks like this:

```

Pass `next_cursor` as the `cursor` query parameter to get the next page. Stop when `has_more` is `false`. Set the page size with `limit`, from 1 to 100 (default 20).

Errors share one format with a stable `code`. See [Errors](/errors).
